Members of Covent Garden Chamber Orchestra come from all walks of life. If you play to at least grade 8 standard and have some experience of orchestral playing, and would like to join CGCO, please contact us. We do not rehearse on a weekly basis, but usually hold five rehearsals during an intensive two-week period prior to each concert.

Vacancies.  We currently have vacancies for violin and double bass players. If you play either instrument to grade 8 standard, and would like to find out more about playing with CGCO, please get in touch by sending an email.  No audition is necessary and you are welcome to come and play with us before making a commitment to join

CGCO always welcomes dedicated suporters to assist with the various aspects of concert management, including publicity, ticket sales, stage/front of house management and refreshments. It is the support of these helpers which enables the Orchestra to maintain its reputation for concert-giving in a friendly and relaxed atmosphere. If you wish to offer assistance in some way with our concerts, please contact us.

The Orchestra receives some funding from the City of Westminster Arts Council but does not receive sponsorship of any kind (although we are open to offers!)
