Robert Max conducts the Covent Garden Chamber Orchestra in a programme including Berlioz’s Harold in Italy, with Roger Chase, viola, and the traditional Last Night favourites with mezzo-soprano Grace Durham.

Robert Max, soloist, conductor and recording artist, is principal cellist of the London Chamber Orchestra and cellist in the acclaimed Barbican Piano Trio.

Roger Chase has performed as guest principal violist with most of the major British orchestras and many others in North America and Europe.He has recorded for EMI, Virgin, and Hyperion, and taught at the Royal College of Music and Guildhall.

Grace Durham, an acclaimed young mezzo-soprano and former St Jude’s chorister, has sung with Welsh National Opera, Scottish Opera and Glyndebourne Festival Opera. In 2017, Grace joined the Semperoper Dresden as a member of the Junges Ensemble.
